Prospa hits $5bn funding milestone
BusinessFrom humble beginnings 13 years ago, Prospa has now surpassed over $5 billion in SME funding across ANZ.
Started by two small business owners, Prospa has emerged as a leading fintech with strong support for small business and their specific needs. Over 45,000 have been supported so far, and as co-founder and chief executive officer Greg Morshal said, “it’s proof of the trust small business owners place in us and the passion of our team to deliver solutions that matter.”
“Every dollar we fund helps a business take the next step – whether that’s hiring, innovating or investing in growth.”
This funding has gone towards supporting businesses through tough times, making ambitious expansions possible and instilling a sense of confidence and control in its clients.
Co-founder and chief revenue officer Beau Bertoli said the milestone “represents thousands of real stories” and that the company take pride in being part of these journeys.
Prospa has also partnered with over 20,000 brokers, accountants, and aggregators, and continues to find innovative solutions for its clients, launching Tap To Pay, Bill Pay, Xero integration and an app for NZ-based clients.
Bertoli added: “Looking ahead, we’ll keep building smart, intuitive solutions that help small businesses thrive, no matter what the economy brings.”
“When small businesses thrive, all Australia thrives.”
