Kee Ong, CEO of Synnex Australia and New Zealand, said the Synnex MYOB strategic partnership adds an excellent opportunity for Synnex partners to expand their solutions portfolio.
"MYOB software and cloud products will be available through the Synnex Cloud Marketplace and enforces our cloud channel strategy to help our partners in establishing a strong recurring business model and ongoing revenue streams."
The Synnex Cloud Marketplace for channel partners already has several Cloud IaaS and SaaS solutions such as IBM Softlayer, Rackspace, Abbyy, Cirius, Nomadesk, Udocx, Egnyte and BitTitan Cloud enablement and migration services, but MYOB is the first specific accounting software vendor to join up.
Phil Somerfield, MYOB's national sales manager for retail, said MYOB is excited to be partnering with Synnex to be the first accounting software vendor to offer its products through a distribution cloud portal.
"With MYOB’s home-grown cloud offerings for Australia and New Zealand, there is a natural fit with Synnex's home-grown Cloud Marketplace," he said.
"We are really excited about the partnership with Synnex, and the synergies that the two technology companies can offer resellers, and it further solidifies MYOB's evolving commitment to the retail channel."
Synnex Australia P/L, a global ICT supply chain services company and the largest distribution company in Australia, is a significant division of Synnex Technology International Corporation, the largest IT distribution company in the Asia-Pacific region and ranked the third largest worldwide.
