Former Xero director unveils new business partnership


The former education and enablement director for Xero has announced a new software partnership to assist Australian accountants.

Greg Harrison, director of Abacus Business Solutions, has announced a partnership with New Zealand-based SaaS company The Full Suite, which will bring the company’s cloud document management tool SuiteFiles to Australian shores.

Designed for small to medium businesses, SuiteFiles has now attempted to establish a stronger foothold within the accounting industry, which currently makes up over 70 per cent of its users.

Describing SuiteFiles as “an awesome extension of the Xero offering,” Mr Harrison added that a strong integration with Xero Practice Manager and Microsoft Office 365 would prove to be highly beneficial for accountants in their document management processes.


Mr Harrison acquired Abacus Business Solutions in May of last year after leaving his role as education and enablement director at cloud accounting software company, Xero.

“Abacus Business have plans for significant growth in 2016 and this partnership is going to be foundational to us expanding our market reach and extending the richness of the Xero-based practice management solutions that we implement,” Mr Harrison stated.
