Sam Allert, managing director for Australia and New Zealand, said the updated product offers a valuable and a unique proposition to users.
“Most small businesses don’t want to invest hundreds of hours trying to understand a very complex piece of software to do their accounts,” he said.

Mr Allert said he was particularly excited about the unique structure in place that allows small businesses to pick and choose the functionality they need.
“Reckon One is a game-changer in this respect because of its unique app-based system – a world first for small businesses – where it allows the business owner to choose the apps they need, when they need them. This also makes the product incredibly affordable,” Mr Allert said.
Reckon One runs on HTML 5, allowing users to access the system from any device.
According to Reckon, the user interface has been designed to radically simplify workflow and promote ease of use. The product also includes an API service which allows third-party developers to link into Reckon One to offer their own applications.
