Intuit Intelligence’s launch brings new AI capabilities for SMBs and accountants
TechnologyIntuit has launched its newest AI solution, Intuit Intelligence, in Australia to bring automation, consolidation of client communications, and issue and opportunity identification for SMBs.
Intuit has launched Intuit Intelligence in Australia, completing the global rollout of the tech company’s latest AI platform.
Intuit Intelligence works in tandem with QuickBooks and the tech company’s accounting suite and applies numerous large language models to help businesses through autonomous invoicing, conversational custom reports, cross-client portfolio insights, firm playbooks, and a unified inbox.
While the platform is used in the business, Intuit noted that business owners and accountants can still control and apply their judgment and expertise to tasks.
Intuit Intelligence draws on data from 10 million customers, with an average of roughly 625,000 attributes tracked per business.
The tech company noted that early adopters of the platform reported saving an average of 13 hours a month, with 70 per cent saying that they were more confident their books are done right, and accountants reporting spending 30 per cent more time on client advisory work.
“Every conversation I have with a business owner comes back to the same three things: is my cash flow healthy, am I winning the next sale, and do I have the time to actually run the business,” said Anthony Capano, managing director at Intuit Australia.
For Intuit senior vice president for international, Ciarán Quilty, he believes that the future of growth will depend on intelligent systems that combine AI with trusted financial data and the expertise of accountants to help businesses make better decisions and achieve better outcomes.
“That matters, because trust is as important as speed when it comes to AI. It means less time managing the business and more time moving it forward,” Capano said.
Regional Business Services founder Trent Yesberg watched the platform in action and said that it was exciting and impressive.
“There’s a huge opportunity for agentic workflows like this to streamline accounting and bookkeeping, so we can spend more time with our business owners talking about what’s relevant for their business and their growth,” Yesberg said.
Kamran Shaikh, managing director at Morgan Reach Accountants UK, shared his views on the technology’s benefits.
“The beauty of this is that it doesn't just help us find information faster; it helps us identify risks and opportunities earlier, allowing us to spend more time delivering strategic advice on growth, tax planning and wealth creation. It's a powerful example of technology and professional expertise working together, with human judgement remaining firmly at the centre of every decision," Shaikh said.
Having used the platform, Canadian children’s apparel company Oori Noa founder and owner Hanna Kim-Yoo said it allowed him to not chase payments, which means that overall, she will be spending less time on administration.
“That’s invaluable time I can put towards the business, whether that's the product, our customers, or thinking about what's next for my brand,” Kim-Yoo said.
