Ignition, FYI team up for new integration
TechnologyRevenue and billing automation platform Ignition and cloud-native practice and document management platform FYI have launched an integration that aims to close the gap between proposal and delivery for accounting firms.
Ignition and FYI have unveiled an integration to help accounting firms maintain visibility and control as work moves from sale through to delivery.
In a statement, Ignition noted that the integration will enable firms to automate proposals, billing, and payments in Ignition to improve efficiency and cash flow, automate industry-vetted engagement letters with secure e-signatures ensuring compliance, automatically create and assign jobs in FYI when a client signs an Ignition proposal to kick off work, and keep client information synced across both platforms, reducing duplicate data entry and errors.
It is “particularly valuable for firms looking to connect their full client life cycle”, the provider said, while allowing them to maintain visibility and control at every stage.
It is now available for customers in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
Speaking about the integration, Ignition senior vice-president of product, Tammy Hahn, said: “We see many firms using manual processes and disconnected systems, resulting in work being delayed and unbilled.
“The handoff between proposal and delivery is often where visibility breaks down. By connecting Ignition and FYI, we’re giving teams clarity on what was agreed, what needs to happen next, and confidence that every job is completed on time and billed correctly.”
FYI ANZ head of sales, Stefanie Johnson, added: “By turning signed engagements into structured, visible client work, Ignition and FYI give firms greater control, consistency, and confidence in delivery while reducing operational risk and supporting more efficient, scalable growth.”
All In Advisory director Aly Garnett, who is a customer of Ignition and FYI, said that before the integration, “there was a gap between what was sold and what the team could see and act on”.
“Now, everything flows through automatically with full visibility across the team, giving us confidence that work is delivered consistently and all revenue is captured,” she said.
