Futrli has developed prediction technology that gives accountants a complete picture of where a business is headed, from cash flow forecasts to managing human resources.

Dan Daly is a UK-based accountant with over 15 years’ experience helping to grow business. As Futrli’s head of advice, he looks at the platform through the eyes of a user.

“Accountants have been using Futrli to present a forecast to a client, which has successfully led to new conversations about their business objectives and where they are headed,” he said.

“Australian accountants are expanding their advisory services. Prediction technology allows you to show businesses exactly what their costs, revenue, invoices, staff metrics, and other important indicators will be in the future,” he said.

The latest Xero State of the Industry Report, released on 8 February, noted that the advisory space is stronger than ever in Australia.

The report found that accountants are increasingly offering more services to their small business clients, such as strategic consulting on software implementation and resourcing.

In Australia, 30 per cent of accounting practices now offer HR advisory services including assistance with setting employee compensastion and planning to add or reduce employees.

Futrli chief operating officer Helen Cockle says the growth of advisory services in Australia has been significant.

“Australian accountants are becoming increasingly sophisticated in their advisory,” Ms Cockle said.

“As a UK-based technology business built for accountants and their business customers, we see Australia at the forefront of this evolution of the profession.”

The software provider’s latest white paper, the Futrli Guide for Advisory Services: The Power of Predictive Modelling, presents a fresh approach to advisory services.
