MYOB customers across Australia and New Zealand can now automatically sync transactions from Shopify, Squarespace and BigCommerce, with integrations into Amazon, eBay and WooCommerce to come shortly.

The integrations will allow businesses to control all transaction details from selected providers, and mapped to the appropriate accounts – allowing for a seamless, lightning-fast reconciliation process.

This will eliminate the need for manual data entry, account mapping and bank reconciliation.

Amaka COO Francesco Martella said as small businesses prospered in a digital commerce world, the need to accelerate business management automation with third-party e-commerce solutions was key.

“By enabling Amaka, MYOB customers will be able to rapidly bring a comprehensive selection of e-commerce connectors together in just a few weeks,” he said.

We’re excited to be partnering with a household name in the cloud-based business management space.

Its been great working with the incredible team over at MYOB to bring our deep, flexible and seamless automation solutions to even more small to medium-sized businesses and accounting professionals.

Amaka would maintain and provide support for the entire range of e-commerce accounting integrations.

Key features of the MYOB business management platform integrations include automatically capturing sales data from the e-commerce platform into MYOB’s browser-based small business products as an invoice.

It would also capture the costs of goods sold on a daily basis to keep track of profitability and leverage the platform’s default account mapping or use custom mapping to map transactions to existing accounts.

The integration aimed to create a faster reconciliation process with transactions that matched the bank feed data automatically and provide back-date sync for businesses to catch up with books.

The integration would run a scheduled sync on a daily basis, capturing a summary of previous day’s orders data from the specific e-commerce, point of sale or marketplace platform into MYOB generating an invoice.

This would allow businesses to customise their sales summary view choosing from a wide array of formats from product to category.

“Partnering with Amaka to deliver these key integrations will provide our customers with unmatched automation technology and support for their e-commerce interactions at an affordable price,” Dale Dixon, MYOB head of solution consulting and partners said.

The integrations made by Amaka are currently being used by over 35,000 merchants and accounting professionals across the world to automate their accounting processes.
