Midwinter Financial Services’ financial planning software AdviceOS will now integrate with PractiFI’s business management platform, with data flowing across both systems’ open API.

The integration synchronises client details between PractiFI and AdviceOS, aiming to reduce effort involved in duplicating data entry and human error.

Midwinter managing director Julian Plummer welcomed the partnership, saying that accountants in the advice space would benefit from the efficiency of a unified client record across both businesses.

“By integrating with PractiFI we have opened up the options further to include a world class CRM that speaks to our own state-of-the-art modelling tools with ease,” said Mr Plummer.

“This integration was initially undertaken specifically for several major licensees (soon to be announced), and we expect more financial planning practices to follow the lead of combining our two solutions to develop cutting edge, streamlined advice.”

Chief executive of PractiFI, Glenn Elliott also welcomed the integration saying: “Our partnership with Midwinter is really exciting because it automates the advice process even further. It delivers on a core PractiFI objective: to bring massive efficiency gains to advice businesses.”
