A new mobile app has been launched which Australian accountants believe will assist them in building their Chinese investor client bases.

Wealth education and creation platform Grei was formally launched today, providing wealth education resources and wealth management tools to its existing user-base of over 300,000 Chinese-speaking users.

Grei’s CEO, Philip Peng, told Accountants Daily that Grei is looking to create a valuable lead generation opportunity for accountants who have struggled to get an “in” with the Chinese investor community.

“Grei works with selected wealth management experts, financial planners, investment consultants, accountants, lawyers, mortgage brokers, and other related product/solution/service providers to share their stories and successes about wealth with users on mobile,” Mr Peng said.

“Grei can work with experienced accountants by helping them share their knowledge and expertise within the mobile app. By doing this, Grei’s technology and user base can help with generating leads and revenue for their business – online and offline.”

Mr Peng said the Grei platform intends to provide opportunities for an Australian accountant to build their Chinese investor client base.

“Grei represents a significant opportunity for accountants to get an ‘in’ with the massive Chinese/Chinese Australian market,” Mr Peng said.

“Other benefits include revenue and leads generation from contributed content and personal branding within our user community.”

Grei is looking to launch an English language version in 2018.
