CryptoTaxCalculator offers a software solution aimed at accountants to help manage cryptocurrency tax returns. With the ATO now notifying accountants of potential cryptocurrency users, it is now more important than ever to have a software solution that easily automates the process.

About CryptoTaxCalculator

CryptoTaxCalculator is an Australian made software company, specifically designed to satisfy the unique ATO reporting requirements. We started in 2018, and have worked closely with accountants and tax lawyers to provide a solution that is suitable in an accounting practice.

Accountant Grade Solution

Our accounting package comes with a management portal where you can add fellow teammates and manage a list of clients. From here you can choose to invite clients in the app, or instead manage them end-end without them having access. This flexibility allows for a workflow that best suits your practice.

How it works

As an accountant, we give easy to follow instructions on how to request the clients data and import this into the software. From there you can review the transactions that have been imported, and easily complete a reconciliation process where required. Once all the transactions have been reviewed, you can go to the report page and click on the financial year report of your choice.

Automated cryptocurrency tax reports

The financial year reports details the purchase and sales of cryptocurrencies, as well as any income earned from activities such as staking, airdrops, and mining rewards. All you need to do is drag and drop the CSV files of the client into the app.

Affordable price

The accountant package is $499, paid annually and covers 10 clients. Each additional client costs $50. From here you are able to manage your cryptocurrency clients and collaborate with them directly in the app.

How to get started

All you need to do is sign up for the free trial at CryptoTaxCalculator. This will allow you to import data and interact with the review transactions page, as well as seeing how the calculations are made and the associated sample reports. Once you are happy with everything you can sign up to the accountant portal and pay with your credit card. All our support is Australian based, so feel free to chat with us directly in the software if you have any questions.
