Class super has announced the appointment of a new chief operating officer following Kevin Bungard’s promotion to chief executive.

Panos Alexandratos, previously general manager of solutions and IP at the IQ Group, has been appointed to the position.
Mr Bungard said Mr Alexandratos has a long and highly successful track record in superannuation.

“Having previously worked with Panos at the IQ Group, I’ve experienced first-hand his tremendous business acumen and operations management expertise,” he said.
"We’re excited to have Panos join us as a key member of the Class leadership team. He will be instrumental in helping us drive the business to the next 50,000 funds and our planned IPO."
In his new role, Mr Alexandratos will be responsible for the day-to-day management of core business operations, service delivery and support for the company’s rapidly expanding user base.
“Having consulted for Class Super in its formative years and witnessed its impressive innovation and growth since then, I am extremely pleased to be joining the highly skilled team,” Mr Alexandratos said.
“I look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead, applying my expertise and insights from the broader superannuation industry to deliver superior solutions and services for Class Super users,” Mr Alexandratos added.
