A mid-tier network has completed the acquisition of an accounting firm and rebranded two existing firms as it looks to strengthen its grip on the Riverland region in South Australia.

Further, the network have acquired local accounting firm, GPA Accounting, with its team of 10, including partner Steven Inglis, joining the Findex team in Berri.
The acquisition and brand refresh will see two partners overseeing operations in the Riverland region, operating from a Berri and Loxton location.
Findex Berri partner, Hayden Cawse, said the rebranding was part of the network’s decision to provide a more cohesive outlook for its client base.
“Our long-term strategy of working as one team, offering our clients the most holistic financial service available thanks to our Family Office model has been a really rewarding journey. We now have the chance to demonstrate that cohesion to our clients by uniting under Findex,” said Mr Cawse.
“We’re very excited to grow our team in Berri and we’re looking forward to integrating our new team members and clients into our existing operations. The GPA team has long demonstrated a similar passion and commitment to clients and the community as our team has, and the opportunity to merge and grow into the future together is very exciting.”
Mr Inglis also welcomed the move and said the firm was looking forward to tapping into the wider Findex network.
“This really is an exciting time for us as a business. We’re now able to continue to work closely with all our clients, while also being able to enhance what we can offer them across a wide range of accounting and advisory services,” said Mr Inglis.
“The new Findex-GPA team brings the best of both firms together and we’re really excited for the future here in Berri.”
