Bstar has formed an alliance with BOQ Specialist – a division of Bank of Queensland Limited – to offer accountants access to the most up-to-date research and benchmarking information on the dentistry profession, which is a lucrative client base for financial services professionals.

“Bstar’s 2016 Accountants Research Report showed that accountants want specialised tools that they can use to advise their clients. We saw this as an opportunity to collaborate with accountants by sharing some of our extensive knowledge and expertise in the health sector, starting with dentistry,” said Jeff Miller, state manager at BOQ.

“By supporting Bstar’s accurate benchmarking information, we ensure accountants have the data they need to increase their influence within the medical community and grow their medical client base.”

Bstar chief executive Grant Bloxham told AccountantsDaily the research house is now eyeing other industries that house desirable clients for accountants, in an effort to give professionals an edge in their advisory work and in attracting these clients to their firms.
