The Accounting Business Expo will be designed around the rapid evolution of the ways accounting and finance professionals manage, grow and evolve their business, event organiser National Media said in a statement.

The event is designed to bring together the community of accounting, advisory and bookkeeping firms, and commercial accountants in business and the companies that support them, the statement said.

It will provide solutions for every function within business, including finance and accounting, management and operations, sales and marketing, human resources and information technology.

National Media managing director Mark Harvey said the event won’t be a typical accounting conference, rather a business exhibition delivered on an unprecedented scale with an entrepreneurial slant.

“What makes this event truly different to anything else in the market is our whole-of-business approach, covering the entire business – from finance, management and operations to HR, marketing and communications,” Mr Harvey said.

“Because we are independent and vendor-agnostic, we are able to create a true marketplace representing the best the industry has to offer.”

The event will be held from 21 to 22 March 2017 at the new International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney.
