QC Accountants, which operates in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, has appointed Jacki Penbrook as a partner, capping nearly a decade of service with the firm.

Penbrook joined QC Accountants almost 10 years ago, the firm noted in a statement, and has “built a reputation as a genuine trusted adviser to small and medium business owners across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.

She is also, the firm added, known for taking ownership of clients' challenges and investing personally in their outcomes.

The appointment also reflects the strength of QC Accountants' female leadership, the firm noted. Penbrook joins the partnership while Shanna Ford leads the firm's operations as practice operations manager, placing women in key leadership roles across the practice.

Penbrook said: “I've always believed our job is bigger than just tax — it's about really helping people, whoever they are.”

“Becoming a partner at QC means continuing to do that with even more commitment to our clients and team,” she said.

Fellow firm partner Chris Henman added: “We have an internal joke in our office that ‘Everybody loves Jacki’ – and it's based on the feedback we've had from clients over the years.”

“In all seriousness, it's well-earned and is a true reflection of the respect and trust that Jacki has built by going beyond expectations,” he said.
