There were a total of 25 categories on offer this year, including 20 individual and five group categories. The highest scoring individual winner was also rewarded with the coveted Excellence Award during the ceremony.

This year, the prestigious Corporate Accountant Excellence Award was given to Kitty Cai of Foodlink Australia for her outstanding contribution to driving the corporate accounting industry forward.

Financial analysts, management accountants, internal company auditors, CFOs, accounts payable officers, and corporate accountants were also recognised in the individual categories.

Individual winners include representatives from WiseTech Global, Amplify Group Holdings, People Innovations, Australian National Audit Office, and CV Services Group.

The group categories acknowledged finance teams working across technology, not-for-profit, education, professional services, and sports and entertainment.

Those rewarded in the group categories include University of Sydney, IBN Group, Trevanta, Cricket New South Wales, and Corporate Technology Services.

All submissions underwent a thorough audit process, checking demographic and other information against category-eligible criteria based on the information provided in the submission.

Finalist submissions were delivered to a panel of respected professionals and business leaders, who assessed each submission against the criteria of each award category.

The combined judging scores for each submission in each category were then tabulated, with the highest-scoring submission deemed the winner.

Mark Humphries assumed emcee duties, providing light and laughter to more than 200 attendees throughout the evening.
