Under the partnership, Accounting Home Loans (AHL) will donate $50 from every loan settlement to ReLove. Given that just $500 can fully furnish a home for one person, offering dignity and comfort at a critical time, the broking firm says, this means each client’s loan will directly contribute to furnishing safe and welcoming homes for people rebuilding their lives.
Since 2022, ReLove has supported over 2,500 families and redirected more than 3,000 tonnes of furniture to homes instead of waste. The charity does this by transforming empty housing into safe, fully furnished homes for people in crisis, including those escaping domestic violence or experiencing homelessness, while caseworkers support clients as they choose quality furniture and homewares in a respectful and welcoming environment.

Speaking about the partnership, Andrew Johnson, director of AHL, said: “We help our clients into their dream homes every day, but sadly, this isn’t reality for everyone.”
“Every night across Australia there are people escaping crisis walking into empty houses. By partnering with ReLove, we’re able to support those forced to flee their circumstances by providing vital furniture and décor to help them rebuild their lives with dignity.”
“It’s a partnership that aligns deeply with our values, and we’re proud to play our part in turning a house into a home for those who need it most.”
ReLove co-founder Ben Stammer added: “We see every day how powerful it is when someone escaping crisis sets up a home that is safe, welcoming, and theirs.”
“This partnership with Legal Home Loans means more families will not only have a roof over their heads, but also the dignity of choice in creating a space where they can truly begin to rebuild their lives.”
“We’re deeply grateful for Accounting Home Loans’ commitment to ensuring that every home loan settlement contributes to real change for people in need.”
