The inaugural Corporate Accountant Awards recognise the exceptional dedication of in-house accountants across Australia, run in partnership with Principal Partner, Chartered Accountants ANZ.

The new awards program aims to highlight the fundamental role of finance teams and recognise the contributions of corporate accountants in driving success for their organisation.

The awards celebrate the leading finance teams and professionals across Australia and will set a new benchmark of excellence across the profession, spotlighting senior leaders through to rising stars.

Corporate accounting professionals are encouraged to submit an entry or nominate a worthy colleague or team by Friday, 15 August 2025, for a chance to be recognised.

The winners will be announced at the black-tie gala ceremony on Friday, 31 October 2025, at The Four Seasons in Sydney. Click here to buy tickets.

There are a total of 38 categories to choose from, including 25 individual and 13 group categories.

The individual categories will celebrate financial analysts, tax accountants, payroll officers, ESG accounting specialists, and corporate accountants working across education, retail, technology and more.

Finance teams working across agribusiness, construction, infrastructure and/or real estate, education, financial services, professional services, sports and entertainment are also encouraged to throw their hats in the ring.

Why enter the Corporate Accountant Awards?

The first-ever awards program provides a platform to recognise the exceptional achievement of the profession’s best and brightest, pinpointing professional development and innovation.

Securing one of these awards will elevate the in-house accountant’s profile on a national scale, allowing participants to stand out in a competitive marketplace.

The gala ceremony will also provide a unique opportunity to network with the industry’s best, providing unparalleled opportunities for connection and collaboration amongst leaders, peers, and rising stars.

Accounting Times encourages submissions from all in-house accounting professionals and teams operating across Australia.
