Heffron’s managing director, Meg Heffron has joined the speaker lineup at ACE25 Accounting Conference and Expo. At the event, she is set to deliver a keynote address on the superannuation landscape for the next financial year.

The second annual ACE25 Accounting Conference and Expo brings together accounting leaders to arm attendees with the latest technical guidance, practical advice, and in-depth insights on regulatory changes in the year to come.

Heffron has specialised in SMSFs since 1998 and brings comprehensive expertise across all areas of SMSF practice to ACE25.

She has a strong actuarial background and brings extensive knowledge and experience across the breadth of SMSF practice including technical advice, compliance, and regulatory matters.

With the superannuation space continuing to experience significant policy and legislative changes in recent years, Heffron will discuss why current strategies might need to change, what news risks attendees should be aware of and how to capture emerging opportunities.

Her keynote address will explore how practitioners can help prepare clients for the 2025-26 financial year when it comes to their super.

She will also provide an update on key legislative changes (both enacted and on the horizon), and critical tax issues to consider.

In her role as managing director of Heffron, she provides practical solutions that enable accountants and advisers to effectively navigate SMSF complexities, support their clients, and enhance their business practices.

ACE25 Conference and Expo will unite the industry’s brightest minds to discuss how businesses can prepare for changes to AML/CTF, the latest guidance and updates on the code changes affecting registered practitioners, and the latest developments in tax and super.

In addition to Heffron, other speakers include:

  • Jessica Tsiakis, Partner at Holding Redlich

  • Scott Treatt CTA, CEO at The Tax Institute

  • Kaitilin Lowdon, Principal Lawyer at Sladen Legal
