Principal lawyer joins speaker line-up for ACE25 Accounting Conference & Expo

Back for the second year, the ACE25 Accounting Conference & Expo brings together top accounting professionals to deliver the latest technical updates and actionable insights for attendees.

Kaitilin Lowdon, principal lawyer at Sladen Legal, joins the line-up of the highly anticipated one-day conference to discuss the latest insights on section 99B and trust taxation at ACE25.

In her role as a principal lawyer in Sladen Legal, Lowdon serves a diverse range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices and business enterprises. 

Her expertise encompasses advising clients on complex and high-profile tax matters, including reviews, audits, litigation, and transactions, across various areas of taxation.

At the conference, Lowdon will examine the ATO's views on resident trust beneficiaries and income from foreign trusts as set out in TD 2024/9 and the ATO’s compliance approach in respect of section 99B in PCG 2024/3.

Her session will explore the impact of TD 2024/9 on taxpayers and identify key areas that may require review with clients.

Lowdon is an active member of the tax community, regularly presenting to tax professionals, industry bodies, clients, and accounting firms. 

 
 

She has also co-authored several articles and publications on various tax-related topics.
