Accounting firm Coast2Plateau Accounting Business & Taxation in Coffs Harbour has merged with Moore Australia Queensland and Northern NSW, with the practice set to relocate.

Moore Australia is a network of independent tax, audit and business advisory firms with over 550 people and offices across Australia. Moore Australia is an independent member of the Moore Global Network, the 11th largest professional services network in the world.

Coast2Plateau Accounting Business & Taxation partners, Kate Young and Mark Brown, will relocate to the Moore Australia Coffs Harbour office at 10 Moonee Street, Coffs Harbour.

Young has over 30 years of experience providing practical and personalised advice, assisting with streamlining business practices and the multitude of issues that business owners face regularly.

Brown has 20 years of experience and gives his clients peace of mind as he takes care of all aspects of their business and taxation needs.

Moore Australia managing partner for Queensland and NSW managing partner, Greg Mallam, said the merger was another step towards Moore Australia achieving its strategic growth plan.

Mallam said the merger would also provide synergies and support for Young and Brown.

“We pride ourselves on being agile like any local business operator, with the unique position of having access to a national and global network of professionals that we can draw on to provide clients with a comprehensive 360-degree service offering,” he said.

Young said after looking for a new practice with similar values and work ethic to integrate into, they found Moore to be a great fit.

“Moore brings enhanced opportunities for our clients with access to their expertise across superannuation, financial planning, taxation, transfer pricing and corporate finance, to name a few,” she said.

“The additional support and resources across the firms’ six offices was important for us,” Brown added.

“They offer the same high level of individualised service we provide to our clients, with a strong culture and values across the team.”

Moore Queensland and NSW is an independently owned and managed firm with 19 partners and 150 team members across Queensland and Northern NSW. The firm provides audit and assurance, business, tax, accounting, corporate finance, transfer pricing and consulting services.
