Business

The move will allow the firm to grow its human capital and payroll management and expand its knowledge with Ceridian’s cloud technology.

Deloitte will expand its management offerings and technology capabilities through the acquisition of the Australian arm of international firm Enforce Consulting.

Deloitte said the move would also see the firm become a leader in the use of human resources software Ceridian after Enforce Consulting was Ceridian’s first partner in the Australian market.

Deloitte human capital consulting partner and Ceridian alliance lead Glen Detering said the acquisition would see a team of 12 move to the firm along with Australian practice leader Gordon Turnbull who would become a Deloitte Consulting principal.

“Shifting dynamics and disruptions are demanding agility, and the right technology solutions and supports are critical in managing business needs, employee expectations and compliance requirements,” said Mr Detering.

“Enforce Consulting was the first Ceridian partner in the Australian market, and the team is highly credentialled in working with clients to implement high value, end-to-end tech-enabled HR digital transformation across the entire Dayforce product suite.”

“The arrival of Gordon and the Enforce Consulting team will add to Deloitte’s Ceridian implementation capability and add yet another layer to our differentiated client offerings across multiple technology providers, platforms and solutions.”

Mr Turnbull said the firm was looking forward to joining Deloitte and providing the expertise to continue building on its use of the Ceridian Dayforce software.

“We are extremely excited to join Deloitte Australia and build on their existing Dayforce practice. As the first Dayforce partner, we will be bringing a wealth of deep expertise, knowledge and best practice to Deloitte, ensuring the best implementation experience for our clients, while maximising their investment in Dayforce,” said Mr Turnbull.

“Enforce has been committed to customer success and high NPS, which aligns with Deloitte’s commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to clients. Our culture and values are also closely aligned, which makes this an exciting move for the team and for me.”

“We’re thrilled to be part of a bigger picture in terms of opportunity for our clients and people, especially as Deloitte has such a strong market presence in human capital consulting.”

The firm said the Enforce Consulting team would formally join Deloitte on 19 June.

Founded in 2016, Enforce Consulting became a Ceridian consulting partner in North America in the same year. When the firm expanded its operations to Australia in 2018 it became Ceridian’s first partner in the Australian market.
