Intuit kicks off Get Connected roadshow

Business

The event brings accountants and industry experts together for networking and practical advice.

Intuit QuickBooks is launching its Get Connected roadshow with a series of events in the eastern state capitals in May.

The schedule begins with a two-day flagship event in Sydney featuring inspirational and insightful keynote speakers, product updates, workshop sessions and panel discussions.

Day one will be both in person and live-streamed so attendees will be able to join from anywhere across the country.

Day two will focus on hands-on training of the QuickBooks Suite and select app partners.

This hands-on training day then heads to Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. All locations will feature app partners from the QuickBooks app ecosystem as well as networking receptions to give attendees the opportunity to reconnect with friends in the industry.

Intuit’s accountant and adviser group marketing lead Damien Greathead said bookkeepers and accountants had been working hard to help clients through the challenges of the past two years.

“We want them to know that we’ve been hard at work to support them, building a suite of tools to help them better meet the needs of their clients and at the same time, manage and grow their own businesses,” Mr Greathead said.

“Get Connected is an opportunity for this vibrant community to reconnect in person.”

Speakers include members of the Intuit leadership team, led by vice-president and general manager of Australia and rest of world, Lars Leber.

It will also feature Shaye Thyer and Damien Greathead from the Australian accountant and advisers group at Intuit along with industry veterans Robyn Jacobson and Alan FitzGerald. More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

The tour dates are Sydney, 12-13 May; Melbourne, 17 May; Adelaide, 19 May; and Brisbane, 25 May.

Registration is now open. More information on the event can be found here.
