The Australian Accounting Awards has always recognised the business acumen, technical skill and innovation of the Australian accounting profession at all levels — from directors and support staff to partners and students.

This year, Accountants Daily has expanded the awards program to recognise the fundamental role accountants play in the SME community, as well as in the health and wellbeing of their clients and their staff.

The team is proud to present this year’s finalists, which you can access in full here.

Intuit QuickBooks Australia, which Accountants Daily is also pleased to announce as principal partner today, congratulates all finalists on their stellar achievement amid a record number of nominations and submissions this year.

“Intuit sends a heartfelt congratulations to all finalists. The fact that you’ve been shortlisted indicates the respect you have garnered within the industry. We wish each of you the very best and can’t wait to cheer you on at the awards celebration!” said Toby McKinnon, marketing director, Intuit QuickBooks Australia.

“Intuit QuickBooks believes that holding an independent awards program, such as the Australian Accounting Awards, is a great opportunity for the accounting and bookkeeping professions.

“In short, an independent awards program helps to maintain industry excellence, and both finalists and winners can take pride in knowing they rub shoulders with the industry’s best. Intuit is delighted to sponsor the awards which offer a breadth of categories.”

Momentum Media, the company that powers Accountants Daily, is equally excited to congratulate this year’s finalists.

“To a group of people who prioritise their clients and professionalism above all else, sincere congratulations from myself and the team at Accountants Daily,” said the head of editorial at Momentum Media, Katarina Taurian.

“It’s a privilege to connect with all of you every day via the Accountants Daily platform, and I look forward to the pleasure of meeting you at the awards evening in Sydney.

“The material impact of an accountant in the lives of their client should be sung from the rooftops, and Accountants Daily is proud to do that for the accounting profession.”
