BDO has announced the appointment of Jane Gouvernet to its Perth advisory team as an associate director.

Ms Gouvernet has over 30 years’ experience in corporate governance and compliance, including 25 years with ASIC where she most recently practised as the regional commissioner WA and corporate finance senior executive.

“Jane has a high profile in the corporate community, and her recruitment is a big win for us,” BDO WA chairman Sherif Andrawes said.

“Jane’s experience will also add to the investigation expertise and experience of our forensics team, which has grown to be one of the biggest in Perth with capabilities across a wide range of investigative services, as well as in fraud, bribery and corruption, and risk prevention and awareness,” said Michael Cassidy, BDO’s national head of forensic services.
