ShineWing Australia has this week announced the expansion of its valuation, M&A advisory and transaction services.

In line with this boost, John Blight and Phillip Rundle, formerly of Grant Thornton, have officially joined the ShineWing Australia partnership.

Collectively, they have experience in the valuation and transaction services space across numerous industry sectors, including infrastructure, resources, agriculture, property and healthcare.

“We see enormous potential to use ShineWing’s unrivalled reputation, presence and network in China to connect our local knowledge and expertise in the M&A advisory and transaction services space with Chinese and Asian businesses looking to invest and expand in Australia,” said Mr Blight.

“At the same time, through these networks we can introduce domestic clients to opportunities in Asia, helping them to navigate these markets and grow their businesses. We are creating something really quite new and exciting in the Australian market,” he said.

Similarly, Mr Rundle said the pair see “huge growth potential” in this market.

“Together, we are confident we can deliver a unique and comprehensive service offering across the valuation, M&A advisory and transaction service space,” he said.

Managing partner of ShineWing Australia, Marco Carlei, reaffirmed the firm’s intentions to rival the “big four” in certain service areas.

“We have been able to expand our reach and presence overseas while also attracting new business and new opportunities into the domestic market,” he said.
