CAANZ unveils new president

Melbourne-based  KPMG Financial Services Partner Darren Scammell has been appointed president of CAANZ for 2016, replacing Fred Hutchings.

Mr Scammell works with corporates, government and not-for-profit entities as an auditor and adviser. His extensive experience has come from over 30 years with KPMG, including six years on international (UK) and interstate (Adelaide) secondments.

Mr Scammell thanked Mr Hutchings for his leadership in what was a pivotal year for CAANZ’s drive for a greater focus on member needs.

“This year we will continue our work to create a dynamic, relevant organisation, which serves our members in what is a rapidly changing profession.”
