The Federal Government has announced the appointment of Jan Harris and the reappointment of Kevin Lewis to the Financial Reporting Council of Australia (FRC).

Ms Harris, currently the executive director, markets group with the Treasury has a strong knowledge of the regulatory environment and will act as a valuable link between the Treasury and the FRC, according to a Government statement.
Mr Lewis is currently a group executive with the Australian Securities Exchange where he is responsible for compliance and investor education.
Both appointments are for a period of three years.
The Financial Reporting Council is the peak body responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of the financial reporting framework in Australia.
