The appointments of Elisha Manning and Jake Haebich followed the recent promotion of Stephanie Higgins and Emily Peers to partner earlier in the year, bringing the firm's total number of new partners in 2026 to four.

Founded in 2014, Yield Advisory has grown into a nationally recognised accounting, advisory and financial planning firm with a team of 45 across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Sydney.

Managing director Lachlan Ballinger said the latest appointments reflected both the strength of the firm's internal leadership pipeline and its commitment to building a modern professional services business.

“These appointments are a reflection of the calibre of people we have within the business and the confidence we have in the future direction of the firm,” he said.

“Elisha and Jake have both played a significant role in Yield’s growth over many years and have each helped shape the culture, client experience and strategic direction of the business.”

Having been with Yield Advisory for more than seven years, Haebich leads the firm’s financial planning division.

Originally trained as an accountant before transitioning into financial planning, Haebich is described as an individual with a highly integrated and commercial perspective to wealth creation and strategic advice.

“Jake’s background across both accounting and financial planning gives him a uniquely holistic understanding of clients’ financial positions,” Ballinger said.

“He understands how business, tax, wealth and long-term strategy all connect, which aligns strongly with our integrated advisory model.”

Manning also joined the firm more than seven years ago, having previously worked at KPMG and now leads the Yield Advisory's marketing function.

Her appointment indicated a unique move within the accounting profession, with few professional services firms appointing a marketing leader to the partnership level.

Ballinger said the decision reflected Yield Advisory's progressive approach to leadership and its recognition that modern firms require broader skill sets beyond traditional accounting pathways.

“Elisha’s appointment is incredibly important because it reinforces that leadership in professional services is no longer confined to technical accounting roles,” he said.

“She has been instrumental in shaping the Yield brand, driving growth initiatives and helping position the firm nationally. Recognising that contribution at the partner level reflects the type of business we are building.”

The firm has received multiple national awards in the profession, including Wellness Program of the Year at the Australian Accounting Awards in 2025.

As the business continues to expand nationally, Ballinger said further growth opportunities and senior appointments are expected in the coming years.

“We’re building a business that thinks differently about leadership, client service and the future of advisory,” he said.

“These appointments are another important step in that journey.”
