On Tuesday (7 October), McGrathNicol welcomed former KPMG partner Kealley to its partnership, based in the firm’s Perth office.

“We are pleased to welcome Alex to the Perth office and look forward to introducing him to our teams and our clients,” Rob Kirman, partner at McGrathNicol, said.

“Alex has a proven track record of delivering successful transactions and unlocking long-term value for business owners, company directors, boards, and executive teams.”

Kealley has brought over 15 years’ experience in large corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and strategic partnerships across a broad range of industries to his new role. Previously, he worked as a mergers and acquisitions partner at KPMG.

McGrathNicol recognised Kealley for his technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strong relationship-building ability. The firm said his appointment would expand its deals advisory offering.

“Alex’s appointment further strengthens our Deals capability and reinforces our commitment to delivering the best possible outcomes,” Andrew Fressl, head of deals at McGrathNicol, said.

“We continue to invest in building our mid-market corporate finance solutions to clients, both nationally and internationally.”
