Perks has named six leadership promotions to director and associate director across various sectors, including audit, banking and finance, private wealth, as well as accounting and business services.

Perks employees promoted included Nick Bromell, Steve Martin, Rebecca Jayne, Andrew Camens, Tracy Bonney, and Tyson Smith.

Bromell was appointed director of the Perks audit team after he began his career at the firm in 2009 as an accountant in the business services division.

The firm noted Bromell’s appointment reflected more than 14 years of professional experience and insight and was a client-focused accounting professional with deep expertise in external audit, statutory preparation, grant acquittals, and trust account management.

“Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with upper mid-market firms, corporate entities and associations across both public and private sectors, supporting organisations with annual revenues of up to $250 million,” Perks said.

Stepping into a newly created client services director role within the banking and finance team was Martin, who was set to support the growing strategic importance of the area.

Martin was noted to have over 20 years of experience in banking and finance, which included senior roles at big four banks.

Perks said Martin “offered valuable insights from both sides of the lending process, ensuring clients received strategic and practical financial guidance”.

“His approach centres on building enduring relationships by delivering genuine value, helping businesses not only secure finance but also structure it strategically to support long-term growth and success,” it said.

In the private wealth sector, Jayne was promoted to associate director after having played a “pivotal role” in delivering tailored wealth management strategies and supporting clients to achieve their financial goals.

Perks said since joining the firm in 2014, Jayne had drawn on her experience to help clients achieve their financial goals with “clarity and confidence”.

“With 20 years of experience, Rebecca specialises in guiding clients through strategic financial planning and investment decisions and simplifies complex financial planning and investment decisions and simplifies complex financial strategies into clear, actionable advice tailored to each client’s unique needs,” the firm said.

“As an Aged Care Specialist accredited by the Financial Advice Association Australia, Rebecca also provides expert guidance through the complexities of social security and aged care, offering compassionate support during what can be a challenging transition.”

Camens, Bonney, and Smith were all appointed as associate directors within the accounting and services team, which recognised their technical excellence, leadership and capability, and the trusted relationships they’ve built with their clients across a broad range of industries.

Speaking about the appointments, Perks CEO James Black congratulated the newly appointed leaders, noting their contributions to the firm’s continued growth and excellence in client service and advice.

“At Perks, we recognise our great work is the result of our valued people. We are committed to nurturing talent and creating pathways for our people to thrive,” he said.

“These appointments reflect the outstanding calibre of leadership we have within our business and the value these individuals bring to their teams and clients.”
