Forvis Mazars has named Brad Savage as its newest partner in a strategic move to reflect the firm’s commitment to growth, a forward-looking approach and ongoing commitment to the Australian market.
Savage, previously a partner at KPMG, was set to bring over 25 years of experience to the firm after having advised a broad client base on business matters in his previous role.

The firm noted that Savage took pride in the “strong and trusting” relationships he had built with his clients and team members and had worked with local and international businesses across the construction, transport, real estate, manufacturing, and professional services sectors.
Richard DeBono, Forvis Mazars Melbourne managing partner, said Savage’s extensive experience throughout the different stages of business life cycle, from start-up to divestment, would support the continued expansion of Forvis Mazars’ business advisory and tax divisions in Australia.
“Brad’s extensive experience and strong client relationships will add significant value to our operations and amplify our Australian expertise,” he said.
“His appointment is a testament to our commitment to attracting top industry talent and yet another step in Forvis Mazars’ strategic vision towards building a strong national and global presence.”
Based in the Melbourne office, Savage will have a hand in strengthening the firm’s business advisory and tax divisions to enhance its ability to deliver “exceptional” client service.
Alongside his years of experience, Forvis Mazars said Savage was a chartered accountant and registered tax agent, as well as serving on the board of the Building and Construction Foundation, founded by Master Builders Victoria.
The appointment was highlighted to reflect the firm’s dedication to its responsible growth by recruiting top talent who would support its clients with a personalised service and “move the business and clients forward with purpose”.
Savage said he was looking forward to his new venture with Forvis Mazars.
“I am thrilled to join a firm that mirrors my values and consistently supports and invests in middle-market businesses. The comprehensive service offering and the strong cultural alignment enable us to provide tailored solutions to clients.”
