Pitcher Partners has promoted five partners across its Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney offices within the sectors of tax advisory, private business and family advisory and private wealth, effective 1 July.
The new partners included Elisha Herbert, Anthony Kazamias, Lirize Loots, Sean Troyahn and Andrew Wilson, taking the firm’s new partner count for 2025 up to seven, after Sydney-based partners Terry Hoban and Dragan Misic joined earlier this year.

John Brazzale, national chairman, said the new partners would demonstrate the network’s ongoing commitment to nurturing talent and providing exceptional value to clients in an increasingly complex and regulated business environment.
“Businesses across all sectors are facing a convergence of pressures, from tightening regulatory scrutiny and shifting tax interpretations to increased governance demands and the advent of mandatory sustainability reporting,” he said.
“As scrutiny from regulators increases, business leaders are recognising the urgent need to be more proactive, informed and strategically aligned.”
Herbert, joining the Melbourne partnership team, was noted to be a recognised specialist in GST with 18 years’ experience in tax advisory and actively supported clients through the ATO’s comprehensive program of reviews and audits.
“Working with clients early on allows us to enhance their compliance processes and embed best-practice governance frameworks. This proactive approach not only streamlines review processes but also drives stronger, more predictable outcomes when dealing with the ATO,” Herbert said.
The Brisbane office welcomed Kazamias and Troyahn to its leadership team, who were set to work within the divisions of private business and family advisory and business advisory and assurance.
According to Pitcher Partners, Kazamias played a dual role within the firm’s private business and family advisory division, as he supported a wide range of clients in both general tax advisory and highly specialised employment tax matters.
Meanwhile, Troyhan brought more than a decade of experience to the audit and assurance team and had developed a practical understanding of the unique operational and regulatory challenges in the software, construction, aviation, fast-moving consumer goods and labour hire sectors.
Pitcher Partners Sydney added Loots in tax advisory and Wilson in private wealth to its partnership network, both of them having had up to two decades of experience within their respective fields and were noted to bring an abundance of knowledge to the firm and its clients.
Brazzale said the appointments came at a transformative time for the industry, profession and firm.
“This environment is creating a growing demand for trusted, technically astute advisors, who can provide insights that are tailored, forward-looking, and grounded in deep understanding of their business and operating environment.”
