PKF elevates 2 to partner level for ‘dedication, proficiency’

The Sydney and Newcastle operation promotes a total of 26 staff as part of its commitment to nurturing talent.

PKF Sydney and Newcastle has promoted 26 staff including two – Greg Grant-Smith (pictured right) and Chris Weatherall (left) – to executive director/partner.

The firm said Mr Grant-Smith had started at PKF as an associate in 2018 and engaged in an array of mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising transactions, showcasing “exceptional proficiency”.

His promotion was a testament to his dedication and commitment to consistently achieving remarkable outcomes, it said.

Mr Weatherall joined the corporate finance team at PKF in 2019 as a senior analyst and displayed “outstanding expertise and immense dedication”.

His contributions to mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising deals played a pivotal role in steering the team towards success, making him an invaluable asset to the firm.

Managing director Bob Bell said he was proud to see talented team members progress to the next level.

“These promotions underscore the firm’s commitment to nurturing talent, driving growth and providing unparalleled service to our clients,” he said.

Corporate finance executive director/partner Andrew Jones said the two would make exceptional leaders.

“They have consistently showcased a sense of mutual respect, transcending any need to outshine each other,” he said.
