HLB Mann Judd has promoted one partner and five directors across multiple offices for the upcoming financial year.

With more than 20 years’ experience in professional services around the world, Peter Wirtz has been promoted to partner of HLB Mann Judd’s tax division.

HLB Mann Judd Australasian Association chair Tony Fittler said the promotion reflected Mr Wirtz’s contribution to the firm.

“Peter has a distinguished tax career in Australia and around the world,” said Mr Fittler.

“His experience, leadership and contribution to the Adelaide firm has been invaluable.

“I congratulate Peter on his appointment as partner, clients benefit from his expertise and experience on tax-related matters, particularly the important area of R&D tax incentives.”

Mr Wirtz is a member of CA ANZ and has expertise in corporate tax, R&D tax credits and government incentives, and financial modelling.

With the promotion he will head HLB Mann Judd Adelaide’s tax consulting division.

HLB Mann Judd has also announced several director appointments.

After 13 years with the company Lindzi Caputo has been appointed director within its Sydney wealth management division.

Ms Caputo joined the firm as a graduate accountant in 2009 and has been a wealth adviser since 2016.

Amy Wark has also been promoted to director within the Melbourne arm of the firm’s tax consulting team.

Ms Wark had been employed with the firm for eight years and prior to that worked as a tax manager at another national mid-tier firm.

HLB Mann Judd also appointed three additional directors within the Melbourne firm’s business advisory division: Jessica Giramondo, Ryan Uphill and Tristan Harmstorf.

Ms Giramondo joined the firm in 2009 as a graduate accountant and most recently served as a manager in business advisory services.

Mr Uphill has been with the firm for the past nine years and previously worked as a manager within the business advisory services division.

Mr Harmstorf has been employed at HLB Mann Judd in their Melbourne office for the past 14 years and is a qualified chartered accountant.

Mr Fittler said he was pleased to see young leaders being developed throughout the firm.

“We are excited to welcome a diverse group of young leaders who focus on strong client relationships across their respective areas of expertise, and it’s pleasing to see their hard work and dedication be rewarded,” said Mr Fittler.

“On behalf of HLB Mann Judd, I extend a heartfelt congratulations to the new directors and look forward to seeing their continued professional growth.”
