The firm’s move into the Auckland market marks its 10th office. The new office will be head up by Tadius Munapeyi following his appointment to the Hall Chadwick Association this month.

In his new role, Mr Munapeyi will be responsible for developing strong relationships with clients in the banking, insurance, funds management, manufacturing, telecoms and not-for-profits sectors in New Zealand.

Mr Munapeyi brings deep technical experience in financial statements audits, NZIFRS implementation, internal audit, IT audit, AML audit and consulting to the role, according to a statement from Hall Chadwick, and throughout his career has been “engaged on a number of large multi-national co-sourcing engagements”.

He has also worked collaboratively with offshore teams, the statement explained.

“In this constantly evolving global economy and the AsPac region in particular, being able to have a seamless continuum of services for clients with operations in both New Zealand and Australia is not only a necessity, it’s my priority,” Mr Munapeyi said on his new role in heading up Hall Chadwick Auckland.

Also commenting on the move, David Lissauer, chairman of the Hall Chadwick Association said: “The move into the New Zealand market was highly considered. Great opportunities await us and with his impressive career spanning more than 20 years in combined with an extensive array of connections, Tadius is the exact leader we need.”
