A former big four partner has now joined a boutique firm as it looks to strengthen its tax offering.
Multidisciplinary firm Asparq has announced the appointment of Denise Brotherton as its accounting and advisory business leader.
Ms Brotherton was most recently a senior tax partner at EY, where she spent close to three decades specialising in corporate tax and growing high-performing client service teams.
The Melbourne-based firm has hailed Ms Brotherton’s extensive tax experience, pointing towards her focus on privately owned corporate groups, ASX 200–400 public companies and fast-growing entrepreneurial corporate groups.
Asparq chief executive Scott Philips said he was pleased to welcome Ms Brotherton to the firm and its executive leadership team.
“We are excited about Denise joining us and working with our Asparq clients, our accounting and advisory team, our executive leadership team and our board as we embark on an exciting period of growth,” Mr Philips said.
