BDO has announced the appointment of David Ward as a new corporate finance partner in the firm’s Brisbane office, specialising in mergers and acquisitions.
Mr Ward, a former senior partner and head of M&A at Crowe Horwath, joins BDO on Monday and will add to the strength of the existing corporate finance team in Brisbane.

The former head of M&A at big four firm EY, Mr Ward has over 25 years of corporate finance M&A experience and will look to deal with the growing demand for M&A services in Brisbane.

In the current lower growth environment, corporates are looking for acquisitions to achieve their objectives, and Baby Boomers continue to look for opportunities when planning for their succession,” said BDO corporate finance partner Steven Sorbello.
