Rohit Mendiratta has been appointed to lead KPMG’s asset and wealth management strategy team.

Mr Mendiratta will be reporting to ex union boss Paul Howes, who moved to head of wealth management in September this year after joining KPMG in 2014.

In his role at AustralianSuper, Mr Mendiratta was responsible for the organisation’s performance and analytics teams. Prior to this, he held roles at Telstra, Westpac and RMIT in a corporate strategy function.

“We are very pleased that Rohit will be joining us, and in his new role he will partner with the wider firm to develop further its presence in the ever-changing wealth sector. He will play a crucial role in helping us leverage new services into this growing market and deliver deeper value to our clients,” said Mr Howes.

The big four firm confirmed the move yesterday, and Accountants Daily understands Mr Mendiratta has been in the role since the beginning of November.
