Pilot Partners, which offers various taxation, compliance and advisory services, appointed Sally Hindson to director in its taxation services team. Accountants Daily understands she began her role with the firm today.

Ms Hindson joins the firm from RSM Australia after about 15 months as a senior manager. She has predominantly focused her career on tax compliance, tax advisory and business advisory services.

She has held senior management positions within the tax divisions of KPMG Australia, Joyce Dickson and Maxim Chartered Accountants. She was also a senior consultant at EY during her early career.

Ms Hindson is particularly passionate about advocating the progression of women in accounting. During her time at RSM, she lead the firm’s ‘Women with SASS’ initiative, which aims to empower women in the workplace.

“I understand the challenges that women may have in the workplace which become more complex for those that are mothers,” she said

“Encouraging women both within Pilot and in the broader business community to have confidence and self-belief is something I hope our team at Pilot Partners can bring to the Brisbane market,” she said.
