Sage announces strategic partnership

Technology

Sage has announced a formal partnership that will allow mid-size enterprises to access a new range of application to manage their business and people.

By Staff Reporter 10 minute read

Sage's new partnership will be with Fairsail, a leading human capital management (HCM) cloud provider, built on the Salesforce1 platform.

Under the new deal, Fairsail will become the cloud HCM platform of choice to accompany Sage’s X3 Business Management Solution, which serves mid-size enterprise businesses worldwide.

Sage X3 and Fairsail products will work together to provide businesses with processes to manage financials, supply chain, payroll, workforce and talent management, all in the cloud. This will be available to customers in the UK and US initially, with further global rollout to follow.

Alan Laing, EVP of partnerships and alliances, said he is excited to include Fairsail as part of Sage’s ever-expanding network of partnerships and alliances.

“We are committed to providing customers with the solutions they need to compete and grow in today’s global, digital economy,” he said.

“This complementary powerhouse of business management and HCM solutions will enable our customers to gain a competitive advantage,” added Mr Laing.

Fairsail CEO Adam Hale said the firm is delighted to partner with Sage.

“The Fairsail cloud HR solution brings significant benefits to customer quickly, enabling businesses to remain agile and responsive,” he said.

“This investment will allow us to grow our customer success, product innovation and our fabulous team globally.”

As part of the strengthened relationship, Sage will also make a minority investment and take a seat on the board.

The announcement comes as Sage reports interim FY16 results showing double-digit recurring revenue growth of 10 per cent for the first time this decade, supported by a 50 per cent increase in the number of software subscriptions to 842,000. The results also showed overall organic revenue growth of 6.2 per cent.
