Former Xero Australia head appointed Everperform CEO

Appointments

Outgoing CEO Daniel Spitty will stay on as the company’s chief product officer as new CEO Will Buckley eyes a people-driven future for the performance measurement platform.

Performance measurement and advisory platform Everperform has announced Will Buckley as its new chief executive officer.

With more than 15 years’ experience in the accounting industry, most recently as the manager of Xero’s Australian business, Buckley will prioritise finding and maintaining the right people to leverage the company’s deep-learning capabilities.

“With the current headwinds that many accounting firms are facing, the increased investment in the right people is a crucial ongoing strategy to attract and retain the best talent and clients,” said Everperform.

At Xero, Buckley held leadership roles in finance, sales, and GTM in multiple countries across North America and Australasia.

His career has spanned public practice, commercial finance, corporate development and technology in board, adviser, and investor positions.

Everperform uses intelligent measurement, insights, and advisory to direct performance and profitability among accounting firms.

Reportedly, the platform sources from more than 41 billion data points to analyse performance in real time while generating personal insights to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

Buckley will immediately take over from Daniel Spitty, who will serve as the company’s chief product officer.

Wade Keenan, founder and chair of Everperform, said “Will is the right choice for us at this important juncture in the firm’s growth plans. The entire team is excited by this next chapter in the Everperform journey.”
