IPA

The IPA, formed in 1923, is one of Australia’s three legally recognised professional accounting bodies with more than 38,000 members and students in over 80 countries.  The IPA is a member of the International Federation of Accountants, the Accounting Professional and Ethical Standards Board and the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants. 

In 2015, the IPA acquired the Institute of Financial Accountants in the United Kingdom and in doing so formed the IPA Group which is now the largest small to medium enterprise focussed accounting organisation in the world.  Our purpose for being is to improve the quality of life of small business.  Our vision is for every small business is to have one of our members by their side.
