Judging process

Accountants Daily has developed a robust methodology to decide the winners of the Australian Accountants Awards, leveraging the publication’s distribution capabilities and strong industry networks.

View the submission guidelines here.

Stage One

Individuals and firms are invited to lodge a personal submission, or nominate a colleague to lodge a submission by answering a number of key questions. An entrant can be nominated for multiple categories.

Submissions require a mixture of written responses, business metrics and qualitative questions including attachments. For any questions, please contact us here.

Stage Two

Once submissions have closed, submissions are then assessed and shortlisted. Finalists will be announced in all categories in early April on the Accountants Daily website.

Stage Three

Finalists’ submissions will be delivered to a panel of respected industry professionals and business leaders who will assess each submission. Judges will score each submission across a range of criteria.

Stage Four

Australian Accounting Award winners will be announced per category, with the awards presented at a black tie dinner held at Hyatt Regency Sydney on 1 June 2018.
