New Partner of the Year


Securing new partners who are committed to the growth and development of the firm is an objective of all firms in the Australian accounting industry, and is no easy feat in a competitive market.

This award recognises an outstanding new partner in the accounting industry, who most effectively drove revenue growth and shaped their firm’s success in the 2017 calendar year.

Based on business growth metrics as well as support and servicing, the award considers the activities, strategies and actions of the partner in terms of driving increased revenue and efficiencies within their firm or business units.


This award is open to all professionals who are partners in firms providing accounting services in Australia, appointed partner on or after 1 July 2016. The award is based on the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.

Note: If your public title is not partner, please provide evidence as to why in effect you are a partner.


  • When were you appointed partner in your firm?
  • Detail how you structured your business/business division and proposition to drive sustainable revenue growth in 2017.
  • Outline your unique selling points/points of difference as a practice partner compared with your peers, and how you have created a quality firm/business unit as a result.
  • Highlight the innovation you have contributed to your firm and how this has impacted on business growth.
  • Provide a case study that showcases your success as a practice partner in 2017.
