Marketing Program of the Year

OVERVIEW

Although not the traditional domain of accounting businesses, firms are increasingly recognising the bottom line benefits of having an effective and strategic marketing program.

This award recognises the business in the accounting industry in Australia that best utilised marketing to win new clients and drive business growth during the 2017 calendar year.

Based on marketing activities and strategies, the award considers how the business has used marketing to sign new clients and drive increased revenue.

ELIGIBILITY

This award is open to all businesses which have a focus on accounting-based services in Australia. It is based on the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.

QUALITATIVE CRITERIA (maximum 300 words per question)

  • Detail your approach to marketing in 2017, involving the conceptualisation, development and execution of a marketing plan that meets its goals.
  • Demonstrate a diverse and structured marketing mix that leverages multiple marketing channels (e.g. advertising, public relations, websites, apps) and connects with customers across a range of platforms.
  • Highlight your innovation and use of emerging marketing tools and channels.
  • Provide case studies or examples that demonstrate how your marketing empowered business development during the 2017 calendar year.
