Firm of the Year (less than $1bn in revenue)


Executing and sustaining a growth strategy in a marketplace of tough nationwide competitors is one of the great challenges, and successes, of many firms in the Australian accounting industry.

This award recognises the firm in the accounting industry with less than $1 billion in total revenue that most effectively drove business growth during the 2017 calendar year, utilising a range of business development principles and tactics.

Based on business growth metrics as well as support and servicing, the award considers the activities, strategies and actions of the firm in terms of driving increased revenue and efficiencies.


This award is open to all businesses which have a focus on accounting-based services in Australia with total revenue of under $1 billion for the 2017 calendar year.

The award is based on the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.

  • How have you structured your firm to facilitate growth?
