OVERVIEW

Boutique firms play an important role in servicing their local communities, and are increasingly using their small-firm appeal to secure and diversify their client base.

This award recognises the boutique firm in the accounting industry that most effectively drove business growth during the 2017 calendar year, utilising a range of business development principles and tactics.

Based on business growth metrics as well as support and servicing, the award considers the activities, strategies and actions of the firm in terms of driving increased revenue and efficiencies.

ELIGIBILITY

This award is open to all businesses which have a focus on accounting-based services in Australia with total annual revenue no greater than $10 million for the 2017 calendar year.

The award is based on the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.

QUALITATIVE CRITERIA (maximum 300 words per question)

  • What did you do in 2017 to set yourself apart from your competitors?
  • How have you structured your firm to facilitate growth?
  • What did you do in 2017 to improve client satisfaction?
